One of the greatest honors one generation can bestow on the next is the gift of brotherhood. The San Antonio Alumni Chapter is proud to be working with a group of gentlemen at the University of Texas at San Antonio who are on a mission to obtain a charter from the Sigma Chi International Fraternity. This work is completed in four stages:

  • Declaration of Intent – an interest group of students submits a formal request to the Sigma Chi Fraternity that they would like, in cooperation with Fraternity/Sorority Student Activities, to work towards a charter.
  • Phase I – In this phase, the colony works to with local alumni, and a colony advisor, to formalize their internal operations.
  • Phase II – In this phase, the colony works to with local alumni, headquarters staff, and the colony advisor, to formalize their external operations.
  • Final Petition – After all internal and external operations have been laid with a solid foundation, the colony will work with the Grand Praetor, as well as Sigma Chi HQ to submit the final petition/request for a Sigma Chi Fraternity Charter.
